| C-Questor Launches Leaseco2 |
|
Leaseco2 projects are designed to generate net revenue for the customer from day one. Ofgem which regulates the UK gas and electricity markets forecasts energy price rises of between 14 and 25% above inflation by 2020. Avoidance of electricity and fuel purchase will therefore have increasing value over time as a result of price rises in the market place. In addition, the customer stands to gain significant deferred revenue after the initial lease is complete for the remaining life of the product. Depending on the nature of the project, cost savings can be achieved from electricity and fuel savings, reduced maintenance, and reduced water bills for both supply and drainage. Certain projects such as anaerobic digesters also provide revenue in the form of gate fees for waste management, fertilizer, soil improver, sale of spare electricity, and from April 2010, from Government feed in tariffs. For this reason, Leaseco2 projects can and will be designed to be completely self funding with no net cost to the customer at any time.
